​Inclusion

​The Disability Inclusion Program (DIP) supports children with higher learning and support needs in NSW community preschools. This funding replaces all previous funding for community preschools.

Preschools can apply for and use this funding to support the successful inclusion of a child in the educational program provided at that preschool, including but not limited to: providing extra staffing, the purchase of specialised equipment, or training of preschool educators to support the educational inclusion of children with higher learning and support needs at their service. 

The DIP funding is offered at different rates consistent with the needs of the child and the requirements of the preschool support needs to provide for the positive inclusion of the individual child.
